No Poverty
The University engages the community in prevention of poverty through solutions like, farming and Combating climate change that causes drought and there after lack of food. This is done through tree planting activities with the neighboring institutions in Kisaju sub county .
MUA also provides animal fodder like hay to feed the cattle among the Maasai community in Kajiado county. The university has a scholarship fund that supports bright needy students from marginalized communities. Work study program for needy students is also available.
Quality Education
The university is guided by the quality assurance policy statement hanged in strategic public places around the university campuses. The university curricula maintains high standards in terms of ensuring that market survey is done for stakeholders’ input during curricula development and review. Education set Standards by the regulator of higher education in Kenya are all adhered to. Members of Faculty engaged are qualified, regularly trained in pedagogy and relevant current methodology and trends. University also conducts tracer studies of her graduates in the industry and uses gathered feedback to improve the curriculum to make it industry responsive.
Affordable and Clean Energy
The university has installed solar energy systems to light up security lights at night and also pumps water from one of the boreholes to the whole university.
